2010 Golden Globe Awards: Courteney Cox

Courteney's character on Cougar Town may be desperate for a makeover, but in real life she's got just about everything a lady could want. Tonight she set off her beautiful dark hair and bright blue eyes with dark charcoal eye liner and Lancome Color Design lipstick in Pale Lip. It was nothing crazy different, but it got the job done, and the look definitely wasn't out of place on the red carpet.

Keep Your Summer Ponytail

Jennifer Aniston's ponytail looks as perfect with a tank as it does with a tux. The secret to its versatility? "We keep the sides super-sleek and add piecey volume to the crown," explains her hairstylist, Chris McMillan. To get the look, gather hair into a low pony and secure with thick elastic. Then split the tail in two and pull both ends to tighten the sides and loosen the roots.

Bobs are uber-trendy right now and a classic look. But they can be versatile (see Katie Holmes' bob hairstyle here) and there are many types of bobs out there to choose from.

This jaw-length bob is my favorite of Katie Holmes's bobs.

To get this look, "ask that it be slightly shorter in the back with very subtle layering throughout," says stylist Chris McMillan in Allure Magazine.

According to McMillan, this is a cut that works best on straight hair. "It should also have bangs that are completely blunt and straight cut just above the eyebrow." If you have a slightly round face, ask for longer, side swept bangs, McMillan advises.
